Amy Dresser is a freelance illustrator and photo retoucher specializing in people, portraits and skin since 2002.

Amy has worked on campaigns for Pepsi, Sony, Target, PUMA, Nestlé, Converse, and Taco Bell. Her work has been seen in Time, Entertainment Weekly, Maxim, and New York Times Magazine. Portrait subjects include Tom Cruise, Gwen Stefani, Katy Perry, Snoop Dogg, Hilary Swank, Jennifer Connelly, Jessica Simpson and Leonardo DiCaprio.

She graduated from Hofstra University in 1998 with a B.S. in Fine Arts, specializing in figurative and portrait painting, and in 1999 she received a Post-Baccalaureate in Painting from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. After graduating, she was employed as an Illustrator before being hired by Jill Greenberg as her full-time retoucher in 2000.

Amy has been a guest lecturer on photo retouching at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Luminance Talks, multiple universities and art colleges. She has also taught several online and live seminars including a traveling workshop series in Australia.

Amy is currently based in Los Angeles where she fosters homeless animals, climbs mountains, runs down them and drinks Mountain Dew.
